I'm follow up training Sister Folkman and it's SO GOOD. Let's just say, we laugh way too much together and we shoved our beds together the same day we met.
Yesterday we were eating lunch outside of the institute building and this lady came and sat right next to us and just started talking. She was waiting for the climate change protest march that was supposed to go down college street, but it never actually came so, first sign that she might be a little crazy. She lives in this place called Paquin Towers, second sign (the sketchy 15 story building we always climb that feels like an insane asylum. Also the same building we almost died in the elevator) she had paint all over her face, third sign, and was really not all the way there, fourth sign. So while we were bearing our testimony, really the only thing I could think of was the fact that she was going to a climate change march with paint all over her chin. But hey, we got a return appointment so we'll see where this goes.
Thank you all for the birthday wishes I LOVE YOU ALL A LOT. 20 years old makes me want to barf, not even kidding. It's literally half way to dead, so love that.
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT- "Faith in Jesus Christ is a gift from heaven that comes as we choose to believe and as we seek it and hold on to it. Your faith is either growing stronger or becoming weaker. Faith is a principle of power, important not only in this life but also in our progression beyond the veil. By the grace of Christ, we will one day be saved through faith on His name. The future of your faith is not by chance, but by choice." Elder Niel L. Anderson
I love the thought that we choose how much faith we have! Satan is constantly trying to destroy our faith and to weaken it. We have to be restless in protecting our faith, and we do that as we study from the Book of Mormon daily. I absolutely know that the Book of Mormon brings strength, comfort, and happiness into our lives.
So here's the question I want to start asking myself more, "How does the Savior see my faith?"
LOVE YOU ALL TIMES A MILL
