SISTER ENGLAND GOT HER VISA so I'm flying solo until transfers. I'm with my STL's until September 12th which I'm stoked about. I'll be sleeping on the ground for the next week and a half and we're working both areas at the same time, so there goes all my energy out the door. Good thing I get super hyper when I'm exhausted out of my mind because it's going to be hitting hard this week.
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT- Mosiah 21:15 And now the Lord was slow to hear their cry because of their iniquities; nevertheless the Lord did hear their cries, and began to soften the hearts of the Lamanites that they began to ease their burdens; yet the Lord did not see fit to deliver them out of bondage.
I love this verse because it shows the importance of trials. The challenges and difficulties were not immediately removed. But their faith and trust in the Lord made the burdens lighter. They gained the strength and power that they needed through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. The burdens and trials that we go through in life shape us into the people God needs us to be. That's why bearing our burdens is an essential part of the Plan of Happiness. We should never feel like we have to carry our burdens alone. "Because of His infinite and eternal sacrifice, He has perfect empathy and can extend to us His arm of mercy." -David A. Bednar We are empowered through the Atonement.
