This email is really short but it is what it is, sorry about it lol.

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT- Mosiah 5:8 "There is no other name given whereby salvation cometh; therefore, I would that ye should take upon you the name of Christ, all you that have entered into the covenant with God that ye should be obedient unto the end of your lives."

This week we got asked three different times what a Mormon is. This verse kept coming to my mind and when each person would ask this question our response was, "A Mormon is someone who represents Jesus Christ and takes upon His name when a person is baptized. Jesus Christ's last commandment to His disciples was to "love one another as I have loved you" and that's what a Mormon strives to be. None of us are perfect, but we believe our purpose on this life is to become as He is." The first time we were asked this question, I responded to our investigator saying that and he got super emotional and it was so cool because the spirit seriously just spoke for me. I love that this is what a Mormon is! I love that people look up to us this way. Each of us literally represent Jesus Christ, through covenant, and each of us should be holding ourselves to that higher standard.

Pic 1: our ducks, Chuck and Earl lol (this pic was taken right before chuck pooped ALL OVER Sister Alder)
Pic 2: we went to a Civil War reenactment to prosalyte and of course Abe Lincoln was there
Pic 3: we helped build a deck in the POURING rain!! (Uncle Gabe would be SO proud) We drilled nails for a ridiculous amount of time.
Pic 4: this huge storm was coming in and it was so weird because the giant clouds looked like huge waves. It was SO dark and it was only 10 AM and I'm pretty sure we were low-key in a tornado but it's fine.
Pic 5: cute old lady we visit in the nursing home. She's so funny, I love it
