It’s been a pretty above average week lol. Today is my LAST p-day in the MTC!! I’m out of here in 5 days so that’s the weirdest thing. I literally can’t explain the love I have for this place and I’m a little bummed to be leaving it. BUT I’m dang excited to get to Missouri. During Sunday’s Devotional my companion and I were asked to answer a question using the scriptures in front of the ENTIRE MTC. We were literally only up there for 2 minutes but it was hands down the most nerve-wracking thing I’ve ever done. Literally almost peed my pants. It was such a cool experience though and now everyone says hi to my comp and me- so that’s a plus. I was able to explain that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints truly is Christ’s Church, (3 Nephi 27:8-10) and that this church is COMPLETELY in the hands of God.
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT- Change is inevitable. Change always happens and you can never control it. But you can control who you BECOME from that change and who you want to be. Choose to be like Christ! If you truly want to be like Him, you have to truly know Him. I LOVE this quote I found a while ago: “Each time we receive the Holy Ghost into our lives, we are changed until step by step, little by little, we become like Christ.”
HAVE A GOOD WEEK
LOVE YOU
xoxo, Sister Beal
Oh hey also- both of our TRC Investigators last week committed to a baptismal date and we got our investigator this week to commit to baptism as well! It’s been SO cool and fun to teach them! (The MTC sets up investigators for us to teach and we don’t know if they’re members, non-members, or recent converts so you really never know if the investigator was real or not, but when you teach, it is all SO REAL. It’s really neat.)
