This week has truly been a blessing, we get to celebrate the most important event in history which is the Christ's atonement, death and Resurrection so I guess all three. I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend with friends, family and love. As I sat in the Philipsburg branch on sacrament, it was almost completely filled! I sat there and I had such an overwhelming feeling of love and amazement at what Jesus Christ has done for us. I am so grateful that each day I am able to turn to our Savior and become better, to repent each and everyday.
So last week, I had the opportunity to go to another island and I learned so much there, we lost our luggage and then later got in a car accident. Everyone is fine but I have some minor injuries. What I have learned is that the Lord truly does look after his missionaries, no one was seriously injured and we were taken great care of by the Senior missionary couple there.
This week my companion and I had the privilege of working with President Eclaire ( President Fishers second counselor) and his wife from Guadeloupe. She is absolutely amazing and we went and saw a friend we are teaching and it was so powerful! Our friend accepted a baptismal date and I am so excited for her! There was also two baptisms within our branch this last week and I am so excited the work is going forward here in St. Maarten!
Keep on coming closer to the Savior, repent everyday and allow him to help you. Life is so much more joyful when we are close to the Savior!
