Hello Everyone!

I hope your week was as good as mine!
Sister Blomquist and I have been working hard, contacting lots of doors and meeting all sorts of people. This week was extremely hot, but I did not get sunburnt which is a miracle! We were in an area called St. Patricks and we met a lady, Andrea who was super nice. She was busy so we planned to go back, when we did the next day, we were able to teach her and her family! Her 16 year old son even accepted a B of M and participated in the lesson, I really felt the spirit and it was so nice!
On Friday night, we had fun night which is where everyone from the Branch and area can come play games, or activities and a spiritual thought. We had about 30 people, and it was a great turnout. I really love all the members and cute kids that come from the surrounding neighborhoods. Our Branch President really encourages fun night because as a kid he would always go and said he felt something special there, he then ended up joining the church!
On Saturday, all the missionaries from our Branch cleaned the church was super fun, there are so many bugs there though, because it is open so it is a project cleaning them all up haha. Sunday was the best part of the week was Sunday!!
So we were running late to church due to traffic but our friend Amber who we are teaching was planning on coming to church. We run in and she wasn't there but a friend Carlis was, he told us we had met him about a month ago, he had his track with our number and names too. Sister Blomquist and I had invited him to church and he went last week but no one was there because of General Conference ahhh! But he came again and really enjoyed it! And then to make it better about 10 minutes later Amber walks in with her daughter Malia I was so happy! She loved Gospel Principles where we learned about work and it was so awesome! We have had only a few friends come to church but never 3, I am so happy and hope they felt the spirit and everything while visiting!
I am excited for this Thursday we have zone conference and Elder Gonzales is coming to our zone Conference, I am so happy and a little nervous but it will be great! I hope everyone has a great week, and I love hearing from you.

Love,

Sister MacDonald
