This week was great! We had Zone Conference on Wednesday and it was awesome!! Sister Welch and I played a piano duet. We played the same duet that Grandma Roberts and I played together! We played, "My Heavenly Father Loves Me". It went really well! It was such a fun experience to be able to play with SIster Welch! I am so grateful to Grandma for teaching me piano and that I am able to play for my mission! The rest of Zone Conference was good! We talked a lot about the new changes with missionary communication and also working with members. It was such a good Zone Conference! The Zone Leaders gave an awesome training about being in tune with the Spirit. They had us go with our companions and pray about something in our area. It was such a cool experience! There was just something about everyone in our district going in separate corners to pray in the chapel at the same time. It was such a cool experience and the Spirit was so strong!
We walked so much this week! We only have a certain number of miles for the month, 1100. It is a good amount but when we teach Cameron, we drive 30 miles round trip. So miles are limited here in Middletown. We make it work by parking and walking all day. I have figured out that I need to exercise more often because I am always sore and out of breath after we are done, haha! It's lots of fun though! Especially when it is nice and cool outside!
We were able to find 2 new people this week. We found Sandy by walking through a neighborhood. We were trying to talk to everyone that we saw on the street and we walked past this guy who was in his garage but we didn't stop to talk to him because we were on our way back to the car. Sister Larsen had a feeling that we should get back out and go talk to him. So we got back out of the car and went to go find him but he had already gone inside, so we decided to just walk around and maybe he would come back out. While we were walking around, we met Sandy, gave her a Book of Mormon and set up a return appointment! I'm pretty sure that the reason the Spirit told us to go back out was so we could find Sandy! We also found Jason, who I've talked to before and now we are going to start teaching him! It was hard work trying to find our 2 new people to teach but it was worth all the walking. Heavenly Father sure helps us meet our goals!
I am having a lot of fun with Sister Larsen! We work together well, which is super nice. We are always laughing and having a good time! It makes the bad days, better! We put Cameron back on date for baptism on March 9th! He is so ready and we are so excited for him! The district we are in is such a party as well! Elders Quiner and Sheffield call us every other night, they check up on us to see how we are doing. It's always nice to have fun people in our district to talk to!
The rest of this week was more of a finding week. We just went around trying to find people to teach. It has been a great experience and I wouldn't change it for the world! That's pretty much it for this week.
