I'M EXPECTING

Well friends, my entire life was just turned upside down.

Our mission president woke up in the middle of the night and decided to change the entire transfer board. Even though she has been in Machias for less time, Sister Nelson is being transferred and becoming a Sister Training Leader for her last transfer in the field! I, on the other hand, will be staying in Machias to train a brand new missionary!👶 WE ARE BEING SEPARATED! NO!

Let me just take you through the roller coaster that have been my emotions for the last few days. When we got the leadership call, we were soooo confused. Like "this is not what I want, this is not what I planned, and I just gotta say, I do not understand!!" (If any of you got that reference, lets be best friends). We spent the next few days RACKING our brains about what was going to happen, which one of us is staying?!?! We even drilled the assistants but they didn't give us anything so we were forced to wait in agony for the transfer text this morning. For a while, we thought the chance of us staying was pretty 50/50, but last night and this morning, I had the feeling I would stay but I was still in denial. I'm just trying to remember that God has a plan and president receives revelation to lead this mission so I'm just gonna roll with it.

Ok but for real, I am very excited for this opportunity I have to train! It will be a great opportunity to grow for me and my companion! I'm doing my best to keep the faith and trust in God's plan! Just hope I don't mess this new missionary up!

I'll leave you with this thought that was shared with me. "I think that we can all agree that life can be hard. We all have worries and problems that we have to deal with and they vary every day. Fortunately, we have a Heavenly Father who never intended that we would deal with the maze of personal problems, challenges and heartaches on our own. He made it possible that we could have access to godly power to help us Our focus must be riveted on the Savior and His gospel. If we keep our thoughts to Him always our doubts and fears flee and answers to our problems will come to light"

Love you all, have a great week! Next time you hear from me, I will be a mother.
