Hi everyone! Can you believe it's almost Christmas?! I'm so excited!
It has been snowing a lot so basically I've been FREEZING! It's like 25 degrees but with wind it's like 15, or less even. We can't drive in the snow so we get rides and walk around a lot. Today though its 40 degrees and it's SO WARM! It's great. Sister Froberg from our ward posted on Facebook that we were cold so members have been giving us gloves and scarfs and tights and stuff. They gave us hand and feet warmers too! Oh yeah, someone gave us a big tree and other decorations. Haha we decked the halls. They really do take good care of us.
Sister Brush and I are good!! We spent the afternoon yesterday at the walk in clinic. She apparently has a severe kidney infection and they did a whole bunch on tests. Still waiting on results but they havent seen anything abnormal so far.
Not gonna lie, this week was pretty normal and nothing too exciting happened. We went Christmas caroling with the district which was cool! We went to this one house and an older couple answered. After we sang, we asked if there was anything we could do for them and they just asked that we pray for them! So we did that right there with them on their doorstep! Then they gave us cookies, I'd call it a win!
I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and remember the reason we celebrate! Also, remember to #LIGHTtheWORLD through daily acts of simple service.
