Bear with me as I talk about the weather for a minute. Earlier this week we were wanting it to snow so bad, but it was just COLD and WINDY! I'm talking minor tornado. But one morning we woke up and Sister Brush shouts "IT"S SNOWING!" My excitement was unreal. I literally threw on a coat, boots, and went outside in my basketball shorts. Picture included. We aren't allowed to drive on snow and ice so we did a lot of walking. That night our ward mission leader was driving us around when it started to snow like crazy! So naturally, we went to Dairy Queen to get a blizzard! Then yesterday we woke up to EVEN MORE snow that we weren't expecting!! We took a bus with a member in our ward, Sister Froberg, to the mall! She bought us Chipotle, we went to Target, walked to Burlington Coat Factory, and got another DQ blizzard while we waited an hour for the bus. I don't know what it is about people getting blizzards in the freezing cold but I'll take it.
So seeing as we have been snowed in a lot these past couple days, we haven't been able to see too many people. But Conrad, the 10 year old boy we have been teaching, is getting baptized on December 31st! What a great way to start the new year! Then our investigator, Sarah (14) might not be as committed as we had hoped, but her mom texted us and wants to meet and talk about how we can help and guide Sarah. That was unexpected but we are so excited because we don't want to lose her!
Fun fact: Like 5 missionaries in my zone are from either Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek, or Phoenix! Crazy!
I have tons of pictures today! 💛
(P.S. Every single time we take a picture with the flash on, Sister Brush closes her eyes. Every single time. I wanted to send them anyway)
Love you all, have a great week, and enjoy your warm AZ weather...
