Potential to Change

I almost died everyday this week. Thanks Sister K for catching me when I fall (on the ice) and for almost drowning me with my water bottle. Oh and for throwing the phone at me.

Other than that, I don't have much to report on this week.

Major highlight of the week was when we helped decorate for the most magical Harry Potter birthday party you have ever seen. These people went all out. We hung snitches and floating candles from the ceiling. Moaning Mertile was in the toilet. Pics included.

More importantly though, we helped a lady in the ward who has been struggling a bit. We have been doing a lot of service for her lately and she is really starting to open up. We are going to start doing family home evening with her family. She wants to come back to church because she feels like something is missing in her life. Also, the florescent lights in the buildings give her kids seizures. That is being taken care of currently.

Mission Leadership Council happened. We discussed the vision we want as a mission for 2018. Set goals. Made plans. Elder Murray of the seventy came. Bomb. Just so bomb. I want to write all the things about it but I just can't compile my thoughts. Basically though, he talked about faith and yielding and transforming and how we have the potential to change. He talked about how repentance is to "breathe different." He talked about letting go of who we THINK we are, and let God SHOW us who we are. Like, are you kidding? So good.

Cindy came to church once again. We sang in the choir for the Christmas program. Yes. I sang in the choir. Cindy is so great that she stayed at church even though we had to leave. #sicknessisreal

Lastly, lets not forget about the glorious cinnamon rolls we made from Pillsbury dough. We whipped together some powered sugar and milk for frosting. It worked and they were delicious.

Oh my gosh, quick side note before I close. I turned 16 months this week. Who, what, when, where, why?

Bye friends. Have a great week and Merry Christmas. LIGHT THE WORLD.
