Sister Knaphus

Light Cleaveth Unto Light

Transfers happened. Sister Knaphus and I are staying together! Woo!

We had our Harvest Festival on Wednesday. I was Harry Potter and K was Hermione. It was fantastic. Our new investigator, Alanah came. She's 16 and has such a genuine desire to learn and strengthen her faith. She said home life is kind of rough sometimes but she finds comfort in knowing that she has a Heavenly Father who loves her. Our first lesson with her was so good. We talked to her about how the spirit is a small voice, in the scriptures it says "it being a small voice it did pierce them that did hear to the center, insomuch that there was no part of their frame that it did not cause to quake; yea, it did pierce them to the very soul, and did cause their hearts to burn." That is how the spirit works. It is a quiet whispering that is undeniably powerful. You can tell she is just hungering for truth and searching for light. "Light cleaveth unto light."

We also met Jessica who is the friend of a 16 year old girl in the ward. She was asking to come to church. Yes! Go youth!

Nothing happened on Friday.

Waffles for dinner with the Hermanas on Saturday.

CSFY in Monroe on Sunday! Woohoo! It was a long drive but totally worth it. I've probably mentioned it before but CSFY is Come See for Yourself. People who were recently baptized get up and share their testimonies and we have musical numbers and such. T'was a good time.

But hey good news. We have lessons set up with all of our investigators! I'll keep ya posted!

Love you all, make it a great week.
