Another week with the Chileanos in beautiful frutillar!
Everyone here is obsessed with brownies even though no one knows how to make them. We have hot dogs and potatoes almost on the daily with everything else just drenched in oil and salt. Chileanos!
The work is going at a steady pace right now but we want it to be better. We have a lot of investigators and many people understand and agree with the things that we teach but they lack the action. We are continuing to work hard and love them. The spanish has improved even though I still don`t understand much but I can feel the lord helping every single day.
Something that has impressed me this past week is the dedication of my companion. For those of you that don`t know, her mom was diagnosed with cancer recently and there is nothing they can do for her. Hermana Rojas is the only member in her family and things are very complicated at home, so these past few weeks in the mission have been really difficult for her, but she refuses to go home. She is so commited to fulfilling the promise she made to her Heavenly Father to serve, that she is willing to stay on her mission even if her mom passes away while she is in Chile. She is such an amazing example to me and one that all of us can follow when we think about our own dedication and conversion to Heavenly Father.
Once again, this letter is short as I have limited time but thank you everyone for all of your emails! I love you all!
