This week we got 3 new districts so we have SO MANY new kohai! It has been a little insane to get everyone together for various meetings but so far all of them are great. We moved back into our beloved cafeteria and I am genki. :)
Our lessons this week have been great! We've really been focused during planning time and I've been LISTENING a lot more to both my companion and the spirit. Not talking is weird! (In fact several times, Sister Barton has asked if I'm okay because I've been so quiet) I've just been making my comments more meaningful.
Last week when the mission presidents were here, apparently Elder Oaks came into the classroom across the hall from ours and JUST SAT DOWN. One elder (from Brazil) was greeting him afterwards and didn't recognize who he was and HE FIST BUMPED HIM!! XD
In other news, I am becoming a boss at 4-square, and I cut my hair last Wednesday! I love it so much and it makes my life a lot easier (even though I miss the blond part...) Our zone is becoming very close (to the point of craziness) and we've had several jam sessions with beatboxing and "In the Jungle" wimbo-weys.
We also challenged the kohai to a volleyball game (kohai vs. senpai) and we got WHOOPED. Sufficiently humbled...
We taught Nisho-san several times and Sister Barton and I felt the spirit guide our lessons. I was able to testify many times in Japanese without having the language hinder what I wanted to say. The gift of tongues is real and I know that as I'm trying to be more obedient I am more and more blessed :)
Thank you for your prayers and thoughts! I love all your emails <3
P.S. I also saw Elder Fluckiger, Sister Green and Elder Forston this week! I'm so excited!
