Sister Marin Jones

You kind of look like the hunch back of notre dame"....- The great Elder Demille

July 30, 2019
Hallo kjære venner og Familie!!
I want you all to know that it is not just hot in good old Utah is Blazing hot here in Norway hahah(Or it just feels like it....and I am not used to it hah)! I finally don't look like I haven't seen the sun in ages and actually have a pretty good tan line haaha. So I should be well prepared when I head back to the desert of St. George!!👍

We met with Anna, a person we are teaching, who actually has a baptismal date November 9th after she turns 18. She is way excited!! We watched the restoration movie with her and her Boyfriend, who is a member from England and is preparing for a mission. She is just soo prepared and loves learning more about the gospel. She is a huge example for me, considering how young she was when she first found out about the church. I have seen the long restoration movie multiple times now and everytime I watch it I always feel something and just so much gratitude for the history of the church!!

Funny Stories: Soooo, Sister Jones and I visted a person that we are teaching in her house this past week. The lesson went very well....but then while I was trying to bear testimony or to ask her a question, her cute little 2 year old daughter would go crazy/run away. So she would have to go and get her and blah bla. At one pioint while i was bearing testimony the little girl started.....PEEING ON THE FLOOR IN FRONT OF US ALL HAHAHHAHAHA!!! It was the funniest thing every and would totally happen to me lol. We were just dying as the mom stuch her in the bath tub and the little girl was just laughing and smiling haha.
"The persentage of Pixie Cuts is going up for women......and you know what else is going up.... the deforce rate"......-The great Elder Demille (don't know how I feel about this statement...sorry mom)

We had Zone Conference this past Wednesday and of course it was WONDERFUL!!! I always learn so much from Zone conferences and the spirit is always strong. Since it was my last zone conference, all us missionaries that are going home in a couple weeks had the priviledge to share our testimonies! I went first.........and I of course did not cry at all!!!!!!! Just kidding, that's a lie, I come from parents who are both babies when it comes to crying haha. So tears were shed, but it was just amazing being able to express my gratitude for my mission and how much I have been able to learn since I have been here in Norway. I shared Alma 5:26-27, which has helped me so much through out my mission! I have definitely come closer to my Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ and it has just been amazing to be able to have been one of his servants here in Norway. Of course the work never ends and I will keep working when I get home. But I will never forget this experience that I have had here in Norway and the incredible people/friends I have met here.
Sorry that sounded like my departing letter but I actually have a few weeks left here in Norway haha. But that is just a glimpse of what I said for my testimony.(Burny monie)
