Sister Kelsey

in all things give thanks

Hello everyone!
How was everyone's Thanksgiving??
We had 3 meal appointments Thursday and I did so much better about not over eating than I did last year. So that was a plus. We were at the Deakin's most if the day (the home we live in) but I was crazy because all of their family came so we had to stay in a different house and that was weird. I am happy to be back home. I'm so grateful for them and making us feel like a part if the family. It is so nice to live with members around the holidays. Home away from home. :)
We found out that Sister Kelsey is getting transferred and so that has just been the WORST and we have been sulking around for a week. I am so glad that we got to be companions again ( MTC hardly counts) because I just think she is so great! I am going to miss her so much. I'm also pretty sure that the comp. I will have next will be fun too, right? We shall see.
The church has also put out a new Christmas video, It is super good and made me cry... shocking I know. But i really loved how it showed that we can be like the Savior too. That we can walk in his footsteps and help, serve, and love as He did. I am so thankful to know the gospel. To know that the Savior lives and that he loves us so much. I am thankful to know that we can live as He did and love as He does. I'm thankful for my family, friends, and all the people I have met so far on my mission. I wouldn't have it any other way.
It's a good day to be a missionary.
