hello everyone!
I hope everyone has had a good week. :)
This week was pretty good. I have had the flu all week and I think I am finally starting to feel better. I also haven't been able to sleep like at all.. so I just get up and start studies. Today I got up at 5:45. So I will be taking a nap this Pday.
Terri Koster got baptized on Saturday FINALLY :) she finally felt good enough to do it. Her health has been a challenge the whole time we have been teaching her. Her baptism reminded me of the story of Christ healing on the Sabbath. In the story the man is too weak to get into the water where he would be healed. Just like the man was helped in the story, Terri was helped and there were three men in the font to help lift her out of the water and help her up the stairs. I will never forget that moment. It was one of the most spiritual things I have ever experienced. After she was helped out of the water sister Butler and I got up to teach the Restoration while she got changed, everyone was crying. It was an awesome experience and one I will always carry with me.
Now we are back at square one. Trying to find people to teach. :)
This week is already full of things to do and people to visit! It's booming out here in Holmes lake!
I love it.
It's a good day to be a missionary :)
love,
sister smith
