Favorite scripture and why

Hey friends I don't have a lot of time to email this week but know I am doing good.We got the chance to hear from Elder S. Gifford Nielsen this week. He is a member of the 70. He talked about The Book of Mormon. One thing he said is how much power comes from sharing your favorite scripture and why. In most cases that scripture is powerful to you because of an expirience you have had or the testimony you have built because of it. By simply Sharing our favorite scriptures and why we share a special part of our testimony.
My favorite scripture right now idsAlma 26:12"Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we wilt praise his name forever"
I love this scripture because I struggle a lot with perfection. I always feel this need to be perfect and do exactly what is right. When I don't feel like I meet those expectations I just really get down on myself and depressed. The reality is that there is no way that I am ever going to be perfect. I real am weak and God intended it to be this way so that we can grow and progress in life but if I turn to him in prayer and rely on him he will provide a way for me to accomplish the things that are necessary, through him.
I encourage you all to share your favorite scripture with a family member or friend. You never know how your testimony can help them.I love you all! Have a great week!!!!Sister Rich
