When Your Bishop's a Farmer

Heyoooo! Got transfer news and I'm stayin in Fayetteville, but Sister O is bouncin! Dishonor. It's been real but maybe now I'll get some sleep *in bed at 10:30 but laughs till Sister O falls out of her bed*

We had the bishops daughter come teach a lesson with us and our investigator from Nigeria. He walks us out after the lesson, so we're out there talking, waiting for the bishop to roll up in his mini van. When he got there and I explained he was the bishop he was like "You girls are powerful!!! You have the bishop coming to pick you up???" aha I just love that "bishop" in our church means just a regular guy with a Heavenly calling. No going to school to become a Priest or getting paid. I love explaining to people that the current bishop is a farmer and large animal vet and that he doesn't stand the whole time and preach to us. That isn't normal in other religions.

This week my testimony of the Priesthood has grown a lot. I am so grateful to have worthy Priesthood holders around me and that Heavenly Father has given all of His children access to that power of His. Lately I have been trying to really put effort into my prayers. Like get comfy and talk to God about things I don't usually talk to anyone about. I don't get immediate answers but I do get immediate peace.
