You know you have been in Arizona for too long when it's in the 80s
and you are cold because it's not in the 100s.
This week was truly amazing. We went to the temple Tuesday morning. It
was a beautiful experience. We went again on Wednesday to work on the
temple grounds. We trimmed all the bushes. Later that night we had a
lesson with our investigator Rachel about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We invited her to be baptized and she accepted!! She is so excited and
we are so excited for her.
The went by so fast and I was becoming doubtful that we would find any
new people to teach. But last night, so Sunday night, we were walking
out of our dinner appointment. They live in an apartment complex on
the second floor, so we were walking down and saw a guy fishing. He
also had two really cute dogs so of course I had to talk to him. He
was super friendly and showed us the fish he caught and everything. He
looked at our name tag and asked us what it was. So I explained it to
him and how we share messages about Jesus Christ. He said that his
wife was inside but that they would love to hear a message. They let
us right on in and they told us about some hard times they are
currently struggling with and invited us back. Talk about a crazy
miracle. I just keep thinking about how perfect the timing was, how
God's hand was definitely in it, and how prepared that couple is to
learn about the gospel. My love for animals comes in handy sometimes,
it brings people to the gospel.
Moroni 7: 27-29
27 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, have miracles ceased because Christ
hath ascended into heaven, and hath sat down on the right hand of God,
to claim of the Father his rights of mercy which he hath upon the
children of men?
28 For he hath answered the ends of the law, and he claimeth all those
who have faith in him; and they who have faith in him will cleave unto
every good thing; wherefore he advocateth the cause of the children of
men; and he dwelleth eternally in the heavens.
29 And because he hath done this, my beloved brethren, have miracles
ceased? Behold I say unto you, Nay; neither have angels ceased to
minister unto the children of men.
I would invite you to apply these verses into your life. Miracles have
not ceased! Whatever we are going through Christ will help us. If we
have faith, a miracle will happen. And sometimes even when we are
starting to doubt and starting to feel God won't bless you because you
aren't doing enough, He proves you wrong.
I love you all,

P.S. we uploaded a new video of Sister Garrick singing and me playing
