Aloha friends and family! I hope your week was great and a little less chaotic than mine was :')
I try to keep my emails positive, but this week I lost my wallet in the Honolulu Airport & it wasn't the best day...
BUT, although every day may not be good, there is something good in every day.
A plus to all of it is I had my ID in a different pocket with my plane ticket, so I may have lost my debit cards, but I didn't lose my identity. I'm still Sister Hoffman ;)
This is where the $20 from heaven comes in..
We got back to Honoka'a, and I was still a little flustered. By divine design I had a letter in the mail waiting for me from someone dear to my heart, who will stay anonymous. Along with much needed words of support & love, I found a crisp $20 bill.
In a world of billions of people with billions of problems, Heavenly Father was aware of me and my little problem of losing my wallet.
Here are a few life lessons I learned from this experience:
You never know what you have until it's gone, so appreciate what you have.
We have the ability to be the answer to someone else's prayers. Why would God send angels from heaven when He has angels here on earth- the people we love & care for the most?
Heavenly Father is aware of every aspect of our lives. Every struggle. Every bit of confusion and frustration. Every heartache. He will always help us if we turn to Him.
I challenge you to look for YOUR $20 from heaven this week, whether it be literal or metaphorical.
with love & aloha,
Someone literally wrapped their car in wrapping paper ?
