This week was a roller coaster! We tried to make it the best week ever for Sister Downs before she goes home, and it was!
On Friday our mission had "Car Appreciation Day" aka "Car Fast Friday." Our mission is super blessed because virtually every companionship has a car, but on Friday, none of us were allowed to use them. Our day started at 7am so we could walk 2 miles to the nearest bus stop so we could make it to our first appointment at 8:30am. After a whole day of walking in what seemed to be the hottest day in the summer yet, we were all pretty grateful for our cars. I know I was. But on the bright side got a great tan line on my neck and my feet got a few shades darker from dirt lol. We ended up only walking like 10ish miles, but at the time I was very humbled. You really don't know what you have until it's gone! I challenge you all to try to be more grateful this week!
I hope every one has a fun and safe 4th of July! I am grateful we are able to live in the land of the free because of the brave. I love you all!
