Waimanalo (Sister Talbot)

Kristin Talbot

Aloha friends and family! This week was a great week! I did a lot of walking- gotta get those steps in on my FitBit :)
I am starting to get the hang of Waimanalo. I am understanding pidgin more finally. One thing that I like about Waimanalo is that we teach a lot of people! Every day we have lots of people to teach and that is my favorite thing to do. I have noticed that as I teach people, my understanding of the Gospel is growing too. The mission is one of the best things I've decided to do with my time.
A tender mercy this week was sweet little Lehua. She is the grandaughter of our ward mission leader and she LOVES us. I let her try on my badge and my watch and gave her a Book of Mormon. The whole time we were there for dinner she was walking around the house saying "I'm a missionary! I'm a sister!" Way too cute. I will send pictures of her :)
We went on a beautiful hike this morning in Kaiula I don't mean to be biased or anything, but the Hawaii Honolulu Mission is the most beautiful mission.
Sorry this email is so short, I don't have much time (but what's new haha.)
Just know that I love you all! I continue to pray for you and for your success.
If you see my mom this week, give her a big hug for me! Sunday the 4th is her "30th" birthday! If any of you have ever met her, I'm sure you can agree with me when I say she is the craftiest, kindest, most organized and most loving mother you'd ever seen. I am so grateful for her and all she's done and continues to do for me. Moms are the best, and my mom is at the top of the list :)
