Aloha Mom and Dad and Garrett! It was so great to talk to you all today. I love you all SO much! On my phone I can't enter the "family" in the bbc so I'm just send this to you so mom can email it out.
Aloha and mele kalikimaka to you all! I hope you all had a wonderful day filled with family and food and most of all, the love of our Savior Jesus Christ.
I had a great week! Some highlights were making Christmas crafts at an assisted living center and Christmas caroling numerous times.
This weekend James got baptized, and it was the best day! It was such a privilege to be able to teach him about the Book of Mormon and the Savior and watch as his testimony of Him grew. The Atonement is so real and I am grateful to have been an instrument in God's hands to teach James about it.
You will see pictured the CUTEST little boy. He goes around shaking everyone's hands and for some reason he always wanted to hold mine... Who would've thought that I would get a boyfriend on a mission. Lol, just kidding. He's way too cute for his own good though.
In the last picture you will see THE HOFFMAN OHANA UNITED. As missionaries, we email home once a week. But on Christmas and Mother's day we get to FaceTime. It was such a special treat and the best present I could've asked for. I am so blessed to have such a great family. I love them so much!
My subject line is due to the fact that tonight all of us missionaries get to watch Moana! Yes, so crazy! It is a huge deal because missionaries do not watch movies. But tonight is a special occassion.
Again, I hope all of your Christmas' were merry and bright. This was my first Christmas away from home, but I can't think of a better place to be this year than here. I love Jesus Christ and am humbled to be His representative full time. I love the Book of Mormon and I would encourage you all to read it and experience the power and solace that come from it. I love you all! Merry Christmas and happy new year!
