Aloha everyone!! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I only had to eat 3 meals so I was very blessed- but also very stuffed :) I have so much to be grateful for and I love this time of year where we are able to reflect on all of our blessings and also remember the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.

We have been working with a less active family who has a daughter of-age to be baptized. In our lesson this week, in preparation for Thanksgiving, we went around the room and had everyone in the family say a few things we were grateful for. The 8 year old daughter, Annie, said " I am grateful for Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ because They raised me." I was nearly in tears. That phrase came from a little girl who didn't know the difference between Joseph Smith and Jesus Christ a few months ago. Annie is going to be baptized on the 10th and I am just so giddy about it!! I am so humbled to be an instrument in the Lord's hands in helping His children learn about Him.

I am sure you are wondering about my subject line. This week, some elders decided to put a bumper sticker on our car that says "new driver, please be patient" HAHA! Seriously so funny. I didn't even move it because it really does help to explain my driving.

A quote I found this week is by our Prophet Thomas S. Monson, "The Lord will shape the back to bear the burden placed upon it." I know that to be true! He really does help us endure all of the different trials we are faced with in life.

Another cool thing that happened this week is that our investigator, Marc, is now an active participant in the ward choir. He loves music and is really progressing. I am grateful to be here serving a mission!

Sorry this email is so short. I love you all so much and I hope that you all will continue to be safe and happy.

Aloha!
