Skating in Siberia

Hello Everyone! This week has been exhausting! We had Family Home Evening at the church and that was really great because so many people showed up. There, they also discussed getting together to go skating on that Saturday. We also went skating last Monday, so we hopped right on the ice with them and had a blast! It was really great! We invited some potential investigators (they ended up cancelling, but we'll meet with them this week, hopefully), and the youth were invited and it was really fun! We had Denis and another college friend there, too.We finally got a new investigator this week! Her daughter is a recent convert, so we set up a time to have a discussion with them. Her daughter didn't end up coming, which is sad. But we did have a really good discussion on the plan of salvation with her mom and she was really interested. Afterwards we set up a time for another meeting. She's so wonderful! I think she likes what she's seen of the gospel and that's why she keeps coming to activities and agrees to meet with us.We've been meeting with so many people, doing so many activities, meeting so many potential investigators, I'm starting to get tired. This work was never meant to be easy. My Mission President sent me some verses from D&C 123: 12 For there are many yet on the earth among all sects, parties, and denominations, who are blinded by the subtle craftiness of men, whereby they lie in wait to deceive, and who are only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it

13 Therefore, that we should waste and wear out our lives in bringing to light all the hidden things of darkness, wherein we know them; and they are truly manifest from heaven

I'm so glad I can have this experience! I'm so happy to be here among these wonderful people and help the Lord in this work! I love you all!
