Fish and Funny Moments

HOLA family and friends! How are you? I hope this week was one for the books and you all felt loved. Because you deserve it!
This week was a great one! We did a little service project, sweated alot, laughed alot, ate some fish (super rare) and just taught this amazing gospel to all of Gods hijitos :)
Heres our adventures of the week:

-Gospel got me like:

-Me and my cute comp on our little balcony with montevideo peeking out behind us! :)

-We had zone conference on valentines day this week! It was sooo special! Very fitting too because the #1 thing that i have learned in my mission is about LOVE. What better way to celebrate Valentines than be with the amazing missionaries and talk about how we can share is love better?? Some cute hermanas from Colonia made everyone cookies! These are some missionaries that i LOVE! (The coolest hermanas and some missionaries from my group)

-Our adorable peruvians that we are teaching made us Ceviche! AKA raw fish with lemon and unions. Can i just say.... YES? It was so delishous. Also it was a little celebration because they are going to get married soon to be able to get baptized!!! SON CAPOS :)

-the secrets out, My name is Abigail...

-This is my companion. Reaching great heights. We cleaned the windows of a recent convert this week, it was really fun!

-I love Christ is a humble example, willing to accept Heavenly Fathers will at all times. Even though His father was God, He also had a mortal body and mortal challenges, nevertheless He lived the way He did. Why? Because He knew who he was and why he came. This week I read an amazing talk called "On being Genuine" by Elder Uchtdorf that changed my perspective on how we should live the gospel of Christ. Because of Jesus Christ, we can be made better... eventually disciples of Him.

-In the talk he says, " With patience and persistence, even the smallest act of discipleship or the tiniest ember of belief can become a blazing bonfire of a consecrated life. In fact, that’s how most bonfires begin—as a simple spark."

-Everyone knows what they can do to make this simple spark start! I know that our heavely father has a perfect plan for us! I know that he wants us to try everyday to be just little bit more like His son because it brings JOY and PEACE! :) What are the little changes I can make today to become a better disciple of Christ? I know without a doubt that Heavenly Fathers promises are sure!

I love you all!
Have a great week!!

Love,
Hermana Anderson

Bonus Pictures: All time high...Meeting Elder Uchtdorf and his amazing wife.

My previous companion sent this to me today...... about a contact we had when I served in Colonia at the first of my mission. GOD is good and when the time is right...good things happen.
