Perfect Love

Hey there family! How are you all doing?

It has been so great to be able to talk to a few of you when I call my mom these past few weeks! It is always great to hear from each of you. Honestly you have each played such an important role in my mission, helping me stay motivated to keep working and improving! I love you all! Thank you for all your support, Siempre!

This week was so crazy but also amazing!! We were able to have some great success :) Even though it rained cats and dogs (almost more cats and dogs than there are here in Uruguay!) We saw some miracles! Especially with people coming to church! One of them is Luis. He is a guy that we are teaching. We found him in the street contacting and we ended up running into him 3 different times until he agreed to come to the church to have a charla with us! He was interested in learning piano and so, of course, I offered to teach him a thing or two! We have been giving him piano lessons and afterwards we teach him a lesson. He has super great questions! This last week he told us about his niece that had passed away and how he just wanted to know where she was now, he hadn't been able to feel peace. We asked him how his relationship with God was and he didn't know how to answer. He believed that God created the earth but struggled believing that It was out of Love that God does all he does. We were able to testify of the plan that Heavenly Father has prepared for all of his children! In Alma 34 it talks about the great plan of God, that each part of our life has a purpose and our sins do not have to be the end! We can be reclaimed through the mercy and love of Jesus Christ. We invited him to pray to know and then come to church to be able to be closer to the Spirit, to receive his answer! On Sunday, he CAME and stayed for the class! It was a miracle because he had never come to our church before, others yes, but ours never. He loved how different it was! The spirit was so strong and we felt like each talk was just for him!

We also had a super fun ward activity this week! We did a game of Book of Mormon charades! There were 4 groups and each had a scripture story to act out, the other groups had to guess what story and the one group who guesses the most correct wins. In the end the winning group got to through pie in the faces of the losers!! It was so much fun!! The best part was seeing each youth get so excited about the "book of mormon stories that my teacher tells to me...."!

This week I was blessed to go on Divisions with Hermana Harms! We had a great day of miracles! We found so many less actives who needed some motivation and we were able to help them feel the Saviors love. It strengthened my testimony that God really does have a plan. He is in the little details of our lives. His timing is perfect, always! For us humans, it is hard to accept lots of times! But that is the faith He expects! We must trust in his timing. We saw that as we followed the Spirit we were able to find certain people right as they needed us! I know that we can be instruments in the hands of Heavenly Father as we trust in his timing. Just like it says in Moroni 8:16 "Perfect love casteth out all fear"! I have seen this many times, that perfect love for Heavenly Father's plan casteth out all of our fears! :) Trust in our Father in Heaven, his ways lead us to be better, and stay better forever! This I know with all my heart! I know Jesus Christ is our Savior. I know that the plan of salvation really is the only way to make it back to the presence of our Father. It is because IT PREPARES US. Each step of the way!

Keep doing the good you do! I love you all!
Have a wonderful week! :)
Con Amor,
