How are you all doing? I hope that your having a wonderful week!
This week we had changes and I am staying with my companion to finish her training!! We are soooo happy to stay here in Paysandu :) We got the best news the other day..... that we would be moving houses!! Starting off our new changes in squeaky clean and brand new house! It is an apartment and we live on the 6th floor. Our old place was out of our area and this new apartment in now in our area. We are so grateful to be closer to the area. The Lord is showering his blessings on us this week, not only with this new house but with new people to teach!! This week we felt like we were standing in a huge rainstorm of blessings from Heavenly Father.
One of them is a man named Mauro! We have been visiting his good friend Gabriela who is trying to reactivate, she decided about a month ago to come back to church. The other day we went to visit her and she told us about her long lost friend Mauro, they had recently reconnected. That he had come and told her about some struggles that he's been having with drugs and she invited him to come to church! He agreed and she let him know that we would be coming to visit her later in the week. When we got there he was there and ready to learn! We did not expect this at all and he told us that same week, he had prayed to know which path he should take, because we is very addicted to drugs and wants to change his life. The very next day he found Gabriela and after chatting with her accepted the invitation to come to church. We felt inspired to share a scripture about being born again, how it really is a chance that each of us have in this life to come unto Christ and be made new! Not only spiritually is it possible but physically we can be renewed. He expressed to us how much he wants to change and his desire to start over!! His life has not been an easy one and his new life will not be an easy start but as he follows in Faith I know that the Lord with lift his burden of addiction and help him become a new person in Christ! He came to church on Sunday and absolutely loved it!! I'm so excited to see his progression.
I know that the Lord prepares his children to receive the gospel, we are just instruments in his hands! I'm so grateful to know that I too can be born again and always have a second chance in my life, that I am never stuck where I am. I know that Jesus Christ is our loving Savior. It is through HIM that we can continue to feel peace in our life. I love my Savior!! :)
This week we also got the chance to go to Argentina!! Just for a day we went to help visit less actives and old investigators because the missionaries needed some extra hands! It was awesome ! And i can officially say that I have touched all the countries in my mission! Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina :)
I love you all! Have a wonderful week!!
