Hermana Lobos

Change can be good

Hermana Anderson wasn't able to write a letter today. She is doing great! I was able to talk to her which was awesome!

Abby is the senior companion now and loving it! She had this to say about Hermana Smith and her new companion!

I am so grateful for Hermana Smith and the time we had together. She taught me more than Portuguese, she really helped me learn how to be a better missionary. Her testimony and love for Christ strengthened my testimony and desire to serve. She's an amazing example, missionary and person. All the things I learned with her are helping me right now with Hermana Lobos and in our area. It's been so fun to speak spanish more! I missed it, HAHA and I'm so suprised how quick it came back honestly!! Hermana Lobos is super Chilean! She loves music and dancing and is just full of life HAHAHAH..... I love her!

Abby was able to attend her first Leadership Council in Montevideo. Which is an 8 hour bus ride. She left the night before and arrived in Montevideo at 5 am. She was grateful she could sleep a little on the bus. She said that the meeting was awesome and loved being with President Olsen and his wife. Abby is really sad because President finishes his time in Uruguay in 2 weeks. She will be getting a new Misson President at the end of the month.

She has learned that change is good for the soul!!! It helps you keep growing!

Abby shared that she really loved this week and felt the power of the atonement! She said "I did a lot more than I thought I could, Speaking in 2 foreign (Spanish and Portuguese) languages, one of which my comp doesn't speak very well ,HAHA, It's exciting!!!!!

It was so good to catch up with her. She really is loving her mission! The ups and downs.

Have a great week!
