Colonia, Uruguay

Hermana Rocha

HOLA familia y amigos!!

I hope you all had a great week! Its finally Autumn here so its nice and cold and everyone is suffering a little bit from "gripe" or congestion.

I´m super greatful for the change in the weather because I was blessed to have 2 summers back to back this year LOL :)

This week we had Zone Conference in Montevideo with 3 other Zones. It was a Missionary party! We rode a bus 3 hours to the conference, ate brownies, got inspired and had a great time!! I love being with the zone and other missionaries because its a reminder that we are all in this together, all fighting for such a great cause! To learn together and from one another! I always feel so much excitement to get back to work after these conferences. Uruguay Montevideo Oeste mission really is the best in the world! :)

At the end of Zone Conference, Presidente gave us a promise, that if we apply what we learned today in our areas that we would see success and so with that in our hearts, we went to work as soon as we got home to Colonia. Hermana Rocha and I were walking down a street heading toward the house of an investigator and I got the "idea" to visit a women who we had met a few weeks ago. We had passed by her house this week already and no one answered, in fact someone looked through the window and walked away, not answering the door. We followed this prompting and clapped at her house. We were over joyed when she answered the door and invited us in instantly! We got to talk to her about her kids and her work and most importantly about prayer. We taught her the steps of prayer and she was eager to say the prayer. Her prayer was simple but the spirit was super strong. At the end of the charla she asked, Is there anything that you can leave for me to read??, It was so sweet and so amazing!! I'm so grateful that we listened to that prompting that we recieved to visit her that day, it was a miracle because her work schedule is a little loco and we had already tried to visit her. I know that the Lord blesses us as we are obedient to the promptings of the spirit!

I'm full of gratitude today, for the miracles and blessings that we were able to witness this week. We experienced more than once this week running into someone that we had been looking for days and couldn't find them at there house. Or being able to have a charla with someone even though the day we set before had fallen through. I know that the Lords timing is perfect. That His hand is in our lives everyday and when we look for it, that we will find it even more. I know that "no Hay casualidad", That everything happens for a reason and only God knows that reason. I really felt humbled this week to be able to serve our Savior. We will pass through hard times, times of confusion, doubt and pain but as we hold on to hope, He will always bring us out on top of the waves. Don't doubt in the one who knows us better than we know ourselves! He is teaching us and molding us into something better than we could make of ourselves. I'm so grateful for the atonement of Jesus Christ, that is not only sufficient to save us from our sins but is sufficient to help us carry our burdens and our sorrows and to enable us to carry on through our trials. I testify with all my heart that He is real. He is our savior. This is His gospel. En el nombre de Jesucristo Amen.

I love you all so much! Keep doing the good that you do!!
