Hola everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are anticipating a Happy New Year!
Thank you for all the gifts and the letters!! It made our Christmas special!
We had a great Christmas Skyping home and having traditional Hispanic food - yum! It's something special to spend Christmas on the mission and really feel the depth of the Savior's birth and the impact it makes on our lives. We caroled to so many people; mostly people we didn't know! Even if they're not interested in learning, it's a gift to know that we could create an environment where they were touched by the spirit.
We also had our MLC (Mission Leadership Council) up in Albuquerque this past week. We always come back pumped to give Zone Trainings and do our best! We focused on teaching 10 minute Restoration Lessons and remembering to be bold and simple as we teach that God is Our Loving Heavenly Father - the most important thing we will ever know!
We will hopefully have a baptism this weekend and more investigators on date! Miracles abound - we just have to have the eyes to see them!
I love being a missionary! Sometimes it's tough, and our hard work doesn't always produce the desired results, but it is truly the work of the Lord. I hope in the approaching New Year you find resolve to make spiritual goals and know that Heavenly Father will support you! Anything important to us is important to Him!
