We are all good here in El Paso! My companion will yet again be returning home as she finishes her mission in the next two weeks. We've seen a lot of miracles this week with the help of members! We really need them to help make the new members and investigators be successful!
it seems quite ironic, but simplicity - especially in the gospel - is the ultimate sophistication. I was surprised as well to come out on my mission and find that we MUST teach simply our doctrine, even so that a child can understand. That we often don't need more than the simple stated to truths, over and over again. The key is to create an atmosphere each time where the spirit can reside and testify of these simple truths to the people we teach. If you notice, general conference talks follow the same pattern - scripture of old as well as scriptures of new. They simply state that God is our loving Heavenly Father and He loves his children, tying in their own personal experiences.
Sorry! My camera isn't working right now (so, not pictures this time around) and I don't have time to write, but I love you all and know that with Christ all things are possible!
