Happy New Year!

Hola Familia y Amigos!

Happy New Year! I cannot believe it is 2016!! I stayed up 'till 10:30 on New Year's Eve just to give you a little taste of my celebration... Then my head on a soft pillow....

I have been out 2 MONTHS now!! WOOOO!!! Mission work is definitely work. ...But the Lord's work is the most important kind of work. It reminds me of a scripture we have been using a lot lately in our lessons:

Romans 8:18: "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."

I hope you all had a wonderful chance to celebrate Christmas and this New Year. They are wonderful opportunities for a new beginnings - but any moment is a good time to start! I have been thinking a lot about fear, and how it keeps us from doing the things that we need to, or should be doing. It scary to talk to people you don't know, or teach when you don't know the language. But then, when we trust in God with faith, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. I can do hard things! I can do ALL THINGS through Christ who strengthens me! :)

I love you all! ...Will write you more next week! .
