1st zone assignment, El Paso, Texas

Hermana Neilson, Hermana Torres

NEW MEXICO (But actually Texas)

I've made it safely to my mission! I've been awake since 2:00 yesterday morning and arrived in Alburquerque about 12:00 in the afternoon. Hermana Carlson and I had safe flights and made it too the mission home. President Miller and Sister Miller and the greatest Mission Parents. I love them!

Since I have been here I have been fed way too much food already. Also eaten the spiciest food I've ever had and been to a member's home speaking completely Spanish. It's pretty awesome! I went to 3 transfer meetings today just to get to my area. Each transfer meeting missionaries in the area meet up to see if they are going to a different area or getting a new companion for the next 6 months. My area is El Paso, Texas! I am in a trio with Hermana Nielson and Hermana Torres.

I'm feelin 22. And by 22 I mean 22 degrees, not Taylor Swift 22. When coming on the plane to Albuquerque, the Captain said : "Albuquerque is currently 22 degrees Fahrenheit." Well I guess T swizzle knows what's up - everything will be alright, if we just keep dancing like we're 22 :)

Well I am just writing to check in quickly. I will have more details and pictures next week. I've made it to the mission!! Quick inspirational words I have for now are: Be interested, not interesting. Remember how much impact you can make for good in other people's lives!!

Feliz Navidad! MUCHO AMOR.

Hermana Bigley
