#5 Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day! I am filled with so much love! Thanks for all the letters, note, and packages! It was so fun to get our candy poster. It was the first thing we put together when we got home. It was so "sweet"... literally! [haha that was for Eric.. oh I’m so punny!! :) ] Hermana Wade and I seriously melted when we saw the pictures of our brothers together! Thanks so much. I think we literally showed everyone!! “hey look that’s MY brother and that’s MY brother! "We sure love our Brothers!! Also it was a happy day for us because we got our travel plans yesterday! We were literally jumping around the mail room. We can count the days we have left on our fingers!! 9 Days... uhh what.?? :) We were so excited jumpin’ on our beds and laughing UNTIL….. we realized that we will no longer be companions and then It didn’t seem quite as cool anymore ;) booo!!

Something I really loved this week was 1 Timothy 6:12. I read It, and loved it! It says "fight the good fight of faith." At some point or another we all get put up against the wall and have to exercise our faith. that’s when we show our willingness to search, seek, and pray. SO fight that good fight of faith, because Eternal life is our goal. :)

I can’t believe how much I keep learning and growing every day. We had a discussion about becoming the missionary or person you want to be. It for sure doesn’t happen by a flip of a switch, it takes a lot of hard work, patience and faith. This reminds me of one of my favorite quotes. "You become who you want to become by continually being who you want to become. "I have one week left in the CCM. I can count on my fingers how many days I have left until I am in a whole different country. Speaking and getting spoke to in a language I barely know. But it’s go time! After all, we don’t become the person we want to be by just doing what we've always done! :) It’s time to put on my big girl pants... { I sure hope you packed those for me mom. :) } I am ready and I am excited! But that doesn’t mean I’m not scared out of my pants { so in that case, I hope you packed two pairs for me :) } Because OH MY STARS I am so nervous! . But let’s do this!!:)

Our teacher Hermono Mead the other day said, wow I’ve never had a companionship like you two before.. we were like "YA! we rock.. booyaa!" then he said yaaa..... you guys are definitely "special"... We ignored the sarcasm part and are going with it! ;D but really… I think we ARE one of a kind companions.. At least we can take it! Some days in class I feel like "YES I’m actually learning… I’m LEARNING Spanish!" and then there’s our other teacher Hermana Stewards reply, singing "I believe in miracles" We have a lot of fun, she is the coolest!! We are really super lucky!! Spanish is coming along though really! Me and Hermana Wade had a conversation in Spanish the other day and after a while of talking we just stopped for a minute to take it all in…Is this real life?! It’s so cool! We were just so proud of ourselves…..

I got my hep A shot so I’m all good they are sending you a bill.. ( sooory ) :)
