Tough week

Wow hi everyone!

This week has been super tough but one of the most incredible weeks of my mission. I learned so much this week and was just overwhelmed by the spirit. Super sorry I didn't write last week but hopefully this week will make up for it.

To start my sweet investigator in Coquille got baptized. She is super cute! And I was super sad I couldn't go but I got to Skype her and she sent me some pictures so I'll attach those! Jason is doing awesome. He came to all 3 hours of church yesterday and it was super great. He even announced that his baptism will be Saturday. I am super excited for him and the path he is on now! We have 2 kids now preparing to be baptized as well! They are misty and Nathan and they are so crazy but so fun. Their dad is a member of the church and so we have been teaching them for awhile and they are just great!

Like I said this week was tough. For a lot of different reasons. On Friday we were able to have a testimony meeting with some other missionaries. I was able to bear my testimony on the enabling power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I am grateful to know that we can receive so much strength through the Lord's help. I am so weak in a lot of aspects but I know that He walks beside me everyday to carry me through when I fall.

Yesterday I received a Priesthood blessing. Which for those who don't know, the

Priesthood is God's power on the earth. So we have priesthood holders and they basically are mouth pieces for God. So they can give blessings for the sick and also for comfort. I had an elder give me one and I know that it was Heavenly Father speaking to me. The things the elder said, he could have never known that I was struggling with. After the blessing I felt 50 times better and just like myself again! Heavenly Father loves us so much and knows us personally and wants to bless us but sometimes we have to ask for help first. I have such a great testimony of the Priesthood and I know it is God's power here on the earth!

I just would like to give a huge shout out the cute girls in my home ward who helped my little sister get her young women's medallion. There is a program in the church for the young women to help prepare them for life and motherhood and all that good stuff and when you finish you get a cute little necklace. Well these cute girls helped my sister get hers because my sister doesn't have the ability to do it herself. I thought of a scripture in the Book of Mormon I would like to share.

Mosiah 2:17 "And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God."

These amazing young women are a great example of what this scripture means. Nothing will bring us more joy than to be in the service of our Heavenly Father and helping our brothers and sisters on the path back to Him who loves us perfectly. I am so grateful for those who are willing to step up! To you girls who helped. Thank you so much and know how much your Heavenly Father loves you and how much I love you. You are incredible!

I love you all so much and I am so grateful for your support!
