That's right folks we had another baptism! AND IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. Basically, our friends who were supposed to be baptized last week got sick but all was well and the font was just so beautiful because two beautiful little girls got baptized! I am o happy for them we taught them our first week here and they are just so wonderful. They are Jecey May and Jean Rose. They are just so lovely and i think the Ward is just so wonderful here because every baptism that happens here there are members who attend and just make the new members feel welcomed!
Our Bishop just had his daughter recently returned from her mission. She is so wonderful and her homecoming talk was so sweet. She was talking about what makes us good missionaries and her entire talk was basically a checklist that Sister Custan and I were doing things right until she got to the exercise part. Sister Custan and i both knew that That was ugh not our perfect performance.
So I AM PROUD TO SAY THAT FOR THE PAST TWO DAYS SISTER CUSTAN AND I HAVE GONE ON A RUN EVERY MORNING AND WE FEEL SO DEAD BUT SO SO SO SO ALIVE.
Like I think its just a 1/4 of a mile but we are dead.
We have so many friends right now being taught who are so lovey and I think they will just progress!!! We are teaching this family that we contacted after they called us out for looking at a flower in their yard. And it turns out they have been taught before but missionaries stopped coming. Well, the Taytay never prayed in front of us until yesterday and his prayer was so humble he said "Heavenly Father, I am sorry I don't really know how to do this but I am doing it..." and his prayer was so sincere and sweet. I really love being a missionary. It is weird to think about how in almost 6 months I'll be home but It is amazing to know that the Gospel is true every day, anywhere, and welcome to anyone...walay bayad para sa Ebangehelyo ni Jesu Cristo!
Anyways something really funny happened this week turns out we've been teaching a witch! Like a legit witch everyone. So you may be thinking, "That's weird how often does that happen?"
Well for me this is the second time I've accidental taught a witch.
We do not teach her anymore.
LOVE YOU ALLLRead The Book of Mormon! Its so amazing!
