Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 4th walk

Sister Di Bari

last day serving as a full-time missionary

Friends & Family!

Why did it go by so fast?! :( I can't believe it has been 18 months! I can't believe that this is my last day serving as a full-time missionary. There are no words to describe the joy of being apart of the Lord's work. It truly has been the best 18 months of my entire life! And I know that because of training I received here--the lessons, the people, and the experiences given by the Lord, I now go "onward ever onward", with the testimony and tools I need to continue to have the best years of my life ahead!

I am excited to continue to draw closer to the Savior and allow Him to show me who I am, show me my part in His plan, and change me to realize it and bring others to know too! OH how I love following my Master! Oh how I love being in His service, and in His footsteps. I am so far from perfect and I rejoice in the knowledge and awareness that I am not!:) It allows me to glory in the goodness of the Lord, feel His strength, His power, His love. I love my Savior!:) He is the answer! He is the Light, the Life, the Way, the Truth, the Hope--"

His way is the path that leads to happiness in this life and eternal life in the world to come". I have been a front row observer to see the infinite power and glory of His Atonement. I have seen the fruit of it every single day in His service.

My mission will always be something I hold with reverence, something forever sacred to me. Only the Lord can truly know how it was, but I am excited to share as much as I can with all of you :) I am so excited for the rest of my mission in this life! It will continue with or without a name tag! That is the blessing and the responsibility of our covenants!:)

Through covenants I have made, through the priesthood power and authority of God, I have bound myself to Christ and I will forever be His. I have taken His name upon me and I have promised to always stand as His witness. Bound to Him, I know that I can do all things. Coming to Him, through His grace, He will chasten me, strengthen me, and help me to be the disciple He needs me to be.

I find great peace and joy in this statement from Brigham Young: "“There is neither man or woman in this Church who is not on a mission. That mission will last as long as they live, and it is to do good, to promote righteousness, to teach the principles of truth, and to prevail upon themselves and everybody around them to live those principles that they may obtain eternal life”.

How exciting is that?!?! We can all be missionaries!! We can all feel the joy of being close to the Lord and in His service, He has made it possible, His grace is sufficient!!:) FOREVER a missionary!!!
