Hola todos!
This week has been one for the books. I guess I´ll start off with my email title... So on Wednesday, we had just finishing visiting a super cute lady that we´re teaching (I´ll talk about it a little more later) and we were walking down the street and all of the sudden we see this cow come towards us, but running. Then we realize that it was a bull, not a cow and then we realize that it really was running towards us.... so Hermana Cusme tells us to book it. We ran back in the direction that we came from and went to the side to hide or something. Hna Bean and I had left our companion behind and then she comes to us laughing super hard. We go out and the bull had ran to a field and was NOT running after us at all.... that was a fun time and only slightly embarrassing now that I´m writing it out.
Thursday was literally the best day of my life. We had exchanges with the hermanas lideres and I was in my old sector and I got to see all of my converts! It was the most amazing feeling! I´ve never been happier in my life! They are so strong in the gospel and they got to go to the temple last month for the first time! I love this work!
We did have a few really cool and spiritual experiences this week. On Tuesday, we went to go visit a recent convert. We had tried to call her in the morning, but she didn´t answer and we normally visit her at night, but we decided to visit her anyway. When she opened up the door, she started crying. She´s been having some family problems lately and she had been feeling super sad and lost. She told us that she had been praying and finished her prayer right when we knocked on the door. We talked about the Atonement and how that can help us receive strength during our hardships. On Wednesday, we didn´t have anything planned out. We decided to go to one neighborhood in our sector that my companions haven´t really worked in before. When we were there, they decided to show me one investigator´s house because it´s super hard to find. We decided to knock on the door and the lady was there. She has also been passing through some really hard times lately and had just been thinking about us when we came. Even though we didn´t have much success in terms of the numbers, we were able to help two people who really needed us in those moments. It was a huge testimony builder to me that this is the Lord´s work, that He knows who we need to talk to. He truly does guide us to those who need what we share.
Anyways, sorry this was a little long, but I actually copied some of this from my email to my mission president......... Know that I love you all sooo much and miss you tons!
