Companion reunion

So this week was a crazy one! Monday I was with Sister Ashdown and we had quite a few lessons and goodbyes. One tuesday morning we left bathgate early to get to Edinburgh so we could drop her off at the mission home. When we got to the train station in Edinburgh the Assistants came and picked us up and brought us to the mission home. All the missionaries going home were there so it was a mad house! I got to see 4 of my companions though!!!! It was really cool to be able to see some of my good friends that I haven't seen in over a year!!!! Lots of good laughs! It was a really wierd day because the zone leaders had me stay in the mission home all morning because they didn't have another companion for me. So I spent the morning seeing past companions, making phone calls, helping around the mission home, and playing the piano. It was wierd and quite boring. I had to wait there until 2 because a new missionary was coming in from Finland. So when she got there I greeted her helped get her some food and then I took her back to Bathgate with me to work for the rest of the day. Her name is Sister Petch and she is just the sweetest, cutest, coolest missionary I have ever met. Her english was amazing for only starting to learn it 3 months ago. She has the coolest story and is just a powerhouse. I loved spending the day with her and getting to know her. She was quite nervous about everything and especially understanding the Scottish accent but she did amazing. We had a lot of fun working and teaching together. Then that night we picked up Sister Womack and Sister Jones from the train station and brought them back to the flat for the night. Then wednesday morning we headed back to Edinburgh for a training meeting at 9 and then we all hiked Pratt's hill. Sister Allen and Sister Griffin were both there and is was so fun to see them both again!!! I saw 8/12 companions in two days!!! It was really special to be able to go up to Pratt's hill again and just think about my mission and account to the Lord and to set goals of ways I can continue to serve with all my heart and might. After Pratt's hill we went back to the misison home for lunch and we has another meeting with all the trainers and trainees. We did some role playing and a bunch of house keeping stuff. By the time we got to Bathgate that night it was late. The rest of the week has been great!!! We picked up a new investigator, Robert and he now has a date for Nov 2nd. We had a few people drop us this week but we also recieved a way solid refferal from a member so we are so excited to start teaching her!!!! Also the bishopric in our ward was changed this week. The BIshop is now in the stake presidency so we had a lot of changes made. It was such an eventful week! Quite crazy but so good!!!!! I am super grateful for this week! It has been one that I have learned so much!!!! I know that the Restoration of this gospel is true. I know that this is Christ's church and I am grateful for it and how it helps me change everyday. It is so great!!!!!

I love you all!

Love Sister Moore
