Hello loved ones, what a wonderful Easter weekend, am I right?
I love that we are able to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord.We had a great week! Maria and Edwin were baptised on Saturday, and Edwin's dad, aunt and sister came to the baptism and were crying. Azhumy, their 7 year old daughter, wanted to be baptised as well. Next year Edwin is going to baptise her. Maria and Edwin have the goal to enter in the temple to be sealed as a family next year as well, and they are super excited :-)
We are also trying to plan a ward temple trip so the converts from the past 2 years can enter the temple for the first time.
Not a ton happened this week, but I just want you all to know that I have the surety that Jesus Christ is THE Christ, and truly did come to earth to save us all. It is so interesting to me to think about the life before, and that Jesus Christ was crucial to the plan. Without Him, we would literally not be saved. Our Father loved and loves us so much, that He let His only Begotten Son to descend from this throne, and sacrifice Himself for us. He can heal whatever sickness or whatever sickness and His love is always there.
"The pain of death is swallowed up in the peace of eternal life. Of all the events of the chronicles or humanity, none is of such consequence as this." - Gordon B. Hinckley
I love this gospel, I love this work. In every single one of my personal prayers, I thank God for the opportunity to be a missionary and to wear His name on my chest.
