And another week gone, and another week gone, another one bites the dust.
Hello everyone! This week we saw a lot of miracles. Let's get started!
On Friday we had zone conference! Fue super buena. Also, the mission president from Mission Lima South came, and we taught a real investigator from the street in front of our mish president, the president from Lima South and his wife, and other elders. It was suuper scary, but it was a neat experience!
Our president told us something that caught my attention. He told us that when our appointments fall, or they aren't home, we need to pray.
Friday afternoon when we were doing visits, almost all of our appointments fell. We went to a corner and said a prayer to find someone who wants to be baptized this month. We started walking, and we contacted a man in a wheelchair. Started talking to him, and he told us he was in a car accident 5 years ago and was paralyzed in the legs. We asked him if he lives with his wife, and he told us she fell off the roof from the 3rd story 2 years ago, and also his dad and brother have died in these past 5 years. We taught him the plan of salvation, and he told us he wants to be baptized. What a miracle!!
Hahaha - funny story of the week. Visiting an inactive family and their grandson who isn't a member. Their 8 year old grandson walked in, I put my hand out to get him to shake my hand. He looks at me, laughs, and kisses me on the cheek. haha It was so funny.
I love my companion. She is so strong and helps me a lot through this transfer - we've been working hard to find the people who the Lord has prepared in this area to be baptized, and I am so thankful for my companion :-)
Well, fam and friends and acquaintances and loved ones I love you all. I love Perú, I love the Gospel, I love my Heavenly Father and I love my Savior. Not lovin' the heat so much, but ahì estamos haha.
Be strong and pray my loves!!
