Valentine's Day
Happy Valentines Day Arizonans! :) I love you all!! :) Spread the love! I am grateful for the opportunuity i have to share the Love of Christ here in Brasil!
So i dont have much time to write this week, so sorry about that again. Just know that i love you all! :)
So this week we had and avtivity with our ward it was great! Not that many people came, but it turned out good in the end. I am so grateful for the members here in our ward. I love them so much and am so grateful for all that they do and the desire they have to help us in our work. It will be difficult to leave this area.
One of our investigators that we have been teaching, Juliana, ended up having Dange. It is a sickness that you get from a mosquito bite. It is terrible. Saturday night she sent us a message saying that she was in the hospital. We were able to call her, but she said that they wouldnt allow anybody to visit her and she was thrown out into the hallway, they didnt even have a room for her. She was there all alone and scared and sick, and nobody could visit her. We wanted to ask one of the Brothers here to go and give her a Blessing for the Sick, but she couldnt have visitors. So needless to say that night i hardly slept becuase i was so worried about her. She didnt come to church the next day, which i understand, but i was still super worried about her. After lunch we went and visited her house to see how she was doing, but she wasnt there. So we went to her boyfriends work to see if he knew where she was. He said that she was at her aunts house, so we walked across the city to find that she wasnt there! But we were able to get in contact with her and she said that she would be home later that night. So later that night, we walked all the way back to her house and this time she was there! But she was in a horrible state. She could hardly walk and it was super difficult for her to breathe. She was laying on the ground and not talking and she was SUPER warm. She had a super duper high fever still. The hospital gave her some medicine, but it wasnt working that well. She hadnt eaten the last two days and was starving. Also, it is super hot here and she had a super high fever, but she was cold and was using blankets!! In less words, she wasnt normal. So we called the Quorum President and asked him if he could come and give her a Blessing. While we were waiting for him to show up, we made a soup for her called Canja! It turned out super good! :) Her boyfriend came home from work early to help her take care of DuDu, their son. Finally Derek showed up and gave her a blessig of healing. It was such a neat experience that we had. The first things, was that her boyfriend said Amen at the end of the blessing and that was the first time he said amen in all of the prayers that we had said there. So that was neat. The next part, was that immediately after the blessing, her whole body language changed. She had a different light about her and she took of the blanket that she was using. She was talking after and laughing. She was Juliana again. We were talking with her after and she said that during the blessing she started to sweat a lot. Like a lot a lot. Her fever passed! It was amazing! It was immediate! And we talked with Derek after as well and he said that he started to sweat a lot during the blessig as well. It was such a neat experience to see and feel the difference in Juliana. When we were hugging bye, she was physically normal again, not super hot like she was when we arrived. I am so grateful for this experience that we had yesterday. I am so grateful for the Priesthood that we have again. I am so grateful for the opportunity i have to be here serving my Father and doing the same work that the Savior did and to see Miracles happen right in front of me. I love this Gospel.
Nothing more really exciting happened this week! i hit my head in front of a house this week! haha! I didnt know if i should laugh or cry haha!! It was funny! Typical me right??
Anyways, that all i have time for! Have an amazing week everyone! I lvoe you all! :)

Sister Kinnaman :)
