Saturday we had to coolest experience knocking doors! I felt prompted to ask people about their families and how they strengthen their families, so many people talked to us and it was cool to see how people love and strengthen their families!! and we met like 6 new people and a member that JUST moved in. she had literally been praying for a way to get back to church, she hadn't been since 2001. She teared up as she told us we were an answer to her prayers. WOW. That morning we felt prompted to knock in this tiny street towards to bottom of our area - where we NEVER go. but the Lord knew. He always knows.
Later we handed out a Book of Mormon and as we walked away I thought, "Boy, I'm gonna miss this. I just explained what the Book of Mormon was, bore testimony of how it's changed my life and gave it to basically a stranger. I'm gonna miss this so much." It made me tear up but I said a quick prayer thanking the Lord for all that my mission has amounted to be.
Alma 32-34 is too legit to quit. Find your faith and let it grow! Faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true. “Faith, to be faith, must center around something that is not known. Faith, to be faith, must go beyond that for which there is confirming evidence. Faith, to be faith, must go into the unknown. Faith, to be faith, must walk to the edge of the light, and then a few steps into the darkness. If everything has to be known, if everything has to be explained, if everything has to be certified, then there is no need for faith. Indeed, there is no room for it. … “When will we learn that in spiritual things it works the other way about—that believing is seeing? Spiritual belief precedes spiritual knowledge. When we believe in things that are not seen but are nevertheless true, then we have faith." - Boyd K. Packer
