Peak week for Baptisms and Hip Pain - 2

This past week went great and went by really fast. On monday we had a great FHE with the familia Franco and our ward mission leader and his wife were both there with us. We talked about Eternal Families and Marriage with them and Alma and her husband were excited to have an Eternal Family. Tuesday was absolutely crazy because we taught 7 lessons total and went back to Alma's house 3 times to talk to her and Kevin. Her padastro.. I think that's step father was there trying to convince her to not get baptized. Hermana and I had an interesting discussion with him.. it was on the verge of a bible bash. That evening we talked with Alma for the 2nd time because she was having doubts about her baptism. We committed her to pray to know if Jose Smith was a prophet and she agreed. We felt better after leaving her house that time. Hermana and I poured out hearts out to her and tried comforting her. This past week hermana and I were over at Alma's house every day because we had to teach Kevin all of the lessons! #crazy We made a fun little review game for him and it helped him remember everything he was taught. On thursday we had a spanish meeting with all of the spanish missionaries in the mission down in commerce city. It was great to see everyone and I really enjoyed the training's that were given. They helped hermana and I gain some perspective on what we can improve on. On friday during comp study I broke down and told hermana Pierce what was going on with my hip. That evening as you are aware of we talked on the phone about the issue. That night the spanish ZL's interviewed Kevin and Alma and they both passes with flying colors! On Saturday we prepared for the baptism by printing out the programs we made for them- they turned out nice. That evening we attended Anthony Morales's Baptismal service and I was asked to say the opening prayer. It was so wonderful to see him be baptized and receive the Holy Ghost. Right after his baptism we went on with Alma's program and it was fantastic. The talks given were great and the spirit was so strong while they were baptized and received the holy ghost. Their confirmations were beautiful and they received some special promises. On Sunday Alma, Kevin and Anthony were all welcomed into the ward and it was fun to see that! During relief Society I sat there and got overwhelmed with the situation at hand and broke down. Hermana Boelter came over to me and then we all ended up in the bathroom talking about what was going on. Last night we called some members and they were able to get me some crutches so I can stay off of my hip. I ended up resting on my bed and talking to Hermana Boelter. I'm going to be with Hna Boelter but I'm not sure if I'm staying in my area or being transferred. As of right now I'm not doing good.. The pain is taking a toll on me mentally.

Love you all,

Hermana Angell
