Life has been a bit crazy! I moved to a different area/mission and I've quickly realized that there are some very different things between the old and new!
When I arrived in Redmond, I quickly got to know a little more about my new companion... she had forgot the car on the other side of the city. This is going to be an interesting few weeks. We cover Big Rock Ward and Carnation Ward. We call our area Big Nation!
This week we were able to get Jeremy, someone we're teaching, on date! He has an eight-year-old daughter and is a super sweet dad! We're going hiking with them later today. They are both awesome! The members are also super awesome to us! I can't wait to get to know them better!
Sooo, new area and different ways of finding! We've been doing service for this man who's son just married a member! We were invited to their open house and decided to go! I'm going to be honest, I was set against the idea but was slowly convinced. This just isn't something I had done before in my other areas or even thought of! We went and were able to set up a lesson with someone for Tuesday! We'll have to be creative in contacting and finding here! The people aren't as diverse as they were in my last area. Most of them are white and work for Microsoft. More awesome people to meet, though! We do a lot of service in this area too. I'm excited!
Oh! My Zone is awesome! There's a lot more diversity among the missionaries in the Seattle Mission. Some are from China, Japan, Taiwan, Pacific Islands... etc. They've all been really nice!
Ok, that's it for now!! Love ya lots and lots!!!!!!!
