First I would like to say pasencha (sorry) for lazy emails and no pictures. haha. I guess people just like to look at my beautiful face. We had a great week and it ended with a trip to the temple and a baptism. My first one whoot whoot!
His name is Danilo and he is as solid as a rock. Truly converted to the gospel. He only has grade 3 in school and can't read very well but is already halfway through the Book of Mormon and he has only had it for like 2 or 3 months. He was so excited to be baptized and confirmed. The last few weeks he has just been glowing, even though his family and friends don't support him.
I was reading the talk from 2012 Elder Holland "The First and Great Commandment". About Peter and the Apostles returning to fishing after the death of Christ. Christ returns and asks Peter three times, "Do you love me?" It just got me thinking that as a missionary we have been asked liked Peter to leave our nets behind and Gather the Lord's sheep. It is sometimes difficult to forget ourselves, but the first and second commandment require us to do just that. To love others more than ourselves.
peace be the journey,
Sister Ludvigson
