(Wk10) I had my 1st real lesson with an investigator!
Alright, don’t have a lot of time today because of internet problems, but basically this week was a week of miracles! It´s been a hard one, but a great one. To start off, we have a baptism date!!! On the FIRST of January, I had my FIRST real lesson, one lesson with an investigator, and i put my FIRST fecha! (date for baptism)… it was so unreal! Our investigator is amazing. She was definitely a miracle from God. She has such a hard life, and is going through so many trials, but when she heard our message she knew that it was what she needed in her life. She´s incredible. Merlo hasn´t had a baptism in over a year! Honestly, finding her was an answer to our prayers. It´s hard to stay animated in Merlo because a lot of the members in our branch don´t think that Merlo can change, and the mood here can be a bit depressing. A lot of members are inactive, and some days it just gets overwhelming. Hermana Wade and I want to change the mood of Merlo, but we were having a hard time figuring out the HOW. It´s amazing how the Lord ALWAYS answers prayers though, when you are praying with real intent. Sunday, our mission president came to Merlo with his family!(He´s technically the stake pres) and he gave us the pep talk that we needed. He told us how he kept Merlo open for a reason, and
that he put us here for a reason. Because of our upbeat personalities and the happiness that is in our eyes. Man Presidente Alliaud is AWESOME. He told us that what we need to do is love the people, and told us that he knew we could re-animate the people. Yeah so that was awesome. Plus he took us to lunch with his family at this fancy hotel which was WAY better than whatever food we had in our pension. lol
But yeah, there were a lot more small miracles this week as well. It just strengthens my testimony of how God is ALWAYS listening to our prayers. I love in Enos when it say in verse 15 "Whatsoever thing ye shall ask in faith, believing that ye shall receive in the name of Christ, ye shall receive it."
Alright I hope you all had a good New YEars!!
Thank you again for all the prayers and support.
