La Abogada, La Maestra, La Esposa (the three musketeers)

Hola buenos días muchachos!!!

The best thing about a trio is it's a party all the time no matter where you go…. This is the best trio I've been in thus far.

I also love our members and the dinners we have with them. The Galvezes are amazing they feed us pizza and ice cream while watching one of the New Testament movies which was the best thing ever, they also gave us nicknames based on our "careers" …hence the title …. Guess which one is me.

P-Day we got to have a little choir practice, so we are able to sing at the Zone Conference we have next week. It was definitely fun to sing again but I also realized how rusty I am since I Sang in Choir 2 years ago, so it's been a while.

MILAGROS!!!
☆ SERGIO AND ILAIZA got BAPTIZED!!!!! They had an amazing baptism and their desire to be baptized has come a long way since they weren't able to until this time. They have such a pure spirit about them and the whole ward came to support them. So many people were there that there wasn't enough space for them to be in the baptism room, but we made it work ahah. It took a while for the Abuelo (grandpa) to baptize them because he was getting emotional, and it made people cry … not me of course…. *sniff* … I just had sweaty eyeballs. After they changed, we watch a cute music video half in English and half in Spanish and that was emotional also ahah. Then Sergio and Iliza came out with some leis that a Tongan lady in our ward gave them and they were so happy. We got to hear talks from their family, and it was so emotional that the spirit filled the room, and it was a moment I will never forget.
☆ Our Friends actually came to Chruch!!!!! It was such a miracle because we had only had lessons with them two times and they said they would come and they did!!!! They loved when we greeted them so excitedly and they got to listen to peoples testimonies and had a good time.

Spiritual thought: Meek and Lowly of Heart - Elder Bednar

What is meekness? Elder bednar describes that meekness is active, strong, modest, gracious, courageous, and restrained.
We can show meekness by our righteous responsiveness.
I have personally loved how Elder Bednar describes the different people who demonstrated humility but the one that stuck out to me in amazement was the example of what Christ did after he prayed in the garden in gethsemane. The guards came to take Jesus away and when they were about to, one of his apostles cut off the guard's ear. Jesus then healed him and was humble enough to not stop the will of God and stop the crucifixion.
I know that when we seek to be meek and lowly of heart with real intent, he will help strengthen us and improve our decisions one at a time.

I also know that Bednar is an amazing Apostle …. And I say that in the name of Jesus Christ Amen

Scripture: 2 Nephi 22:2
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation.
